I recently purchased a Pentacon Six with a Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 80mm 2.8 (zebra model, no coating) lens on it. I have shot only two rolls of film with it, but I think the camera has a problem and I would like to hear your opinions about it.

On many photo's with a bright light source in it, there is a very vissible flare that ruins them. These are some small quickly scanned examples of the negatives. You can spot the problem easily.

In the picture with the stairs the sun shines through a window upstairs, but I kept it out of sight. In the other pictures some light came in from the window.

Now I believe that the problem can be the following three things:

- The abcense of a lenshood, I have none
- Light reflecting inside the camera body
- Light reflecting inside the lens

What do you think? What are your experiences with the Pentacon Six, the non coated biometar 80mm and the use of a lenshood?
